Christian Zimmermann is a professional fashion and portrait photographer of 24 years of age based currently in the city of Porto in Portugal, where he graduated from the Portuguese Institute of Photography in April of 2022.

Christian found his passion for the art of photography by drawing and photographing the amazing wildlife in his country of origin Namibia, since he was 12 years old.

Growing up in Namibia Christian was exposed to an abundance of nature and rich landscapes providing him with a strong connection to nature. With the many lighting variables that nature provides he enjoys using natural light to bring out the best in his subjects. His goal every time he photographs is to capture the essence and character of his subject and tell an amazing story in the form of photographs.

Whether it’s spending a day with a friend to capture a photo story of them in their natural environment, doing test shoots for models in the studio, or fashion Editorials on location, everyone has a story and Christian wants to be the person who not just tells it but captures it with emotional images that live on. His goal is to make people feel like they were there or a part of the photo story he is telling.
